Information we collect
Vinqelo may collect information needed to provide its services, including:
- Name.
- Email address.
- Business information.
- Information related to appointments, bookings, or orders.
- Information needed for authentication and integrations authorized by the user.
Use of Google data
Vinqelo may ask for the user’s permission to connect with Google services, including Google Calendar. When the user authorizes Google Calendar, Vinqelo will use that access only for functionality related to appointments managed through Vinqelo.
This may include:
- Creating calendar events.
- Updating events when an appointment changes.
- Canceling or deleting associated events when an appointment is canceled.
- Keeping the information necessary to synchronize Vinqelo and Google Calendar.
Vinqelo does not sell data obtained through Google APIs and does not use Google data for advertising. Vinqelo does not share Google data with third parties except when strictly necessary to provide the service or when required by law.
Access to Google Calendar occurs only after the user expressly authorizes it through OAuth. The user can revoke access from their Google account. Vinqelo will request only the OAuth permissions strictly necessary for the implemented functionality.
Information received from Google APIs will be handled in accordance with applicable Google policies regarding user data.
Storage and security
Vinqelo uses reasonable security measures to protect information and integration credentials.
When OAuth tokens are stored, they must be stored securely, never displayed publicly, and never written to logs in plain text.
Retention and deletion
Data will be kept only for as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. Users may request deletion of their data by contacting [email protected].
